Summit Contracting Celebrates Community Connections and Launches New Service
Summit Contracting Celebrates Community Connections and Launches New Service.
NORFOLK, NE / ONAWA, IA, April 18, 2025— Summit Contracting recently hosted ribbon cutting and customer appreciation events in Norfolk, Nebraska, and Onawa, Iowa, underscoring the company’s continued investment in agricultural communities across the region. Originally scheduled for March and postponed due to a spring storm, both events were well attended by chamber ambassadors, community members, and local partners. While many farmers were in the fields taking advantage of ideal planting weather, several were still able to stop in to enjoy the hospitality and take advantage of special spring sale pricing.
Summit Contracting may be relatively new to Norfolk and Onawa, but the company is not new to agriculture. As a full-service on-farm construction company, Summit has long served producers across the region with grain bins and systems, as well as post-frame and metal buildings. These recent events celebrated Summit Contracting’s growing presence in northeast Nebraska and western Iowa.
“These events gave us a chance to say thank you to the farmers and the communities that support us and also to share what’s ahead,” said Jerad Hutchens, President of Summit Contracting. “Norfolk and Onawa are both important parts of our regional presence. We’ve built great relationships in the area, and we’re excited to continue serving farmers in these communities for years to come.”
A highlight of both events was the official launch of Summit’s new online Pivot Parts Request Form, now available on their website. This new digital tool allows farmers to request high-quality pivot irrigation parts quickly and conveniently anytime, anywhere. Customers can also choose to have parts delivered directly to their farm, helping them to keep their systems running efficiently throughout the season.
“Our team is focused on making it easier for producers to get what they need, when they need it,” said Jeff Bettenhausen, Summit Contracting’s Irrigation Specialist. “With our parts delivery program, we can meet farmers where they are, helping them be more efficient by staying on the farm. We want to be the local partner our customers count on.” This service is part of Summit Contracting’s broader goal to reduce downtime and improve on-farm efficiency for producers.
Summit Contracting remains committed to being an extension of the farm team, building relationships, offering innovative solutions, and delivering reliable service across all locations.
